The Passion & Person Leading Tiepograph
Tiepograph is led by Hitesh Talreja, a brand naming specialist driven by a long-standing fascination with words, etymology, sounds, and how they behave in everyday life. His interest began with language itself, how words are formed, how pronunciation shifts across regions, and how sound influences perception.
By closely observing how small business owners, tradespeople, dealers, and distributors actually use brand names, Hitesh identified a recurring problem. Many names struggled outside presentations.
They were mispronounced, shortened, or avoided altogether, not because the businesses lacked quality, but because the names weren’t designed for real-world use. That insight shaped everything that followed.
Our Point of View on Brand Naming
“Finding a name is easy. Finding a good name is not.”

Hitesh Talreja
Founder
At Tiepograph, naming is not treated as decoration or wordplay. It is treated as a responsibility.
A brand name must work when spoken, not just when seen. It should feel natural across accents, comfortable in conversation, and credible within its category. Most importantly, it must serve everyone who interacts with the brand, not just the final consumer.
Sound matters more than spelling. Clarity matters more than cleverness.
This philosophy guides how we approach brand naming, product naming, and company naming, especially in India where language, culture, and pronunciation play a decisive role.
Why Tiepograph Exists?
Tiepograph was created to bring structure and seriousness to a process that is often rushed and unorganized.
Too many businesses choose names that already exist, rely on borrowed familiarity, or follow trends that fade quickly. The result is confusion, trademark obstacles, and expensive renaming later.
“We don’t name brands to impress rooms.
We name them to survive markets.” — Hitesh
Every year, close to five lakh trademark applications are filed in India. A large number of them are rejected, not because businesses lack intent, but because names rely on overused adjectives, copied patterns, or minor spelling tweaks that don’t hold up legally or linguistically.
“I saw founders losing time, money, and momentum to avoidable naming mistakes. My goal is simple: for Tiepograph to become a guidance point for Indian entrepreneurs navigating one of the most underestimated decisions in building a business.”
Because a good name doesn’t just help you launch.
It helps you last.
